Revision

Revision brings back questions where a pupil's most recent answer was wrong or only partly right, so they can try them again. A pupil can start it from the Dashboard, from History or from a worksheet's results.

Which questions are included?

A question goes into Revision when the pupil's latest answer to it was incorrect or partly correct. Skipped questions aren't included. Once the pupil answers a question correctly, it leaves the Revision list.

Same questions and Fresh questions

There are two ways to revise: Same questions and Fresh questions.

Same questions lets the pupil retry the original questions, as long as they're still available. On the free plan, these MCQ answers count towards the five-a-day allowance.

Fresh questions is part of the Ranger plan. It finds different questions that match the original's topic, skill, level and type, so the pupil can check whether the idea has stuck. It doesn't widen the search beyond that match, so sometimes there's no suitable fresh question. If the original is still available, Same questions is the alternative.

Does Revision change the worksheet result my teacher sees?

No. A worksheet's original answers and score stay exactly as they were. Revision is separate practice. It doesn't resubmit the worksheet.

Each Revision session is saved as its own piece of practice. Teachers keep seeing the original result for a worksheet they assigned, and they may also see the Revision practice in the pupil's history, listed separately.
